Meyer Family-sneak peek {Tacoma Family Photographer}

This Sunday I drove down to Tacoma and for the first time saw Point Defiance Park. Holy smokes it's beautiful there!! I met up with the Meyer family to takes some of their very first family portraits. They recently adopted Miss E from China and in those short 8 months have formed such a tight and lovely bond. It felt as though they had been a family forever...or at least 3 years;-) Thanks for the honor of photographing your family. Your daughter is amazing. But you already knew that!

So here's your sneak peek much, much more to come. I'm off camping for a couple days with the fam. Wish me luck, it's our first outing as a family of 5. This will either be super fun or super duper unfun. I'm hoping for the fun!

Meet Luke and Meg!! They are my great friend Heather's kids. Her and I discovered this location several months ago when we did a photo shoot with her sister. She had been dying to get back there with her kids. Well, we finally did it!! Luke as you can see is a such the little model. Meg was silly and running around so it was hard to get one of her actually looking at me, I have TONS of her blurry and jumping around!! Wild woman!

SO much fun and very different from what I'm used to doing. People that listen and that I don't have to make funny sounds to get their attention! Nuts.
We headed to downtown Everett then a park. It was a perfect time and the light was amazing.

Crystal and Trevor are getting married this August!! Congrats you two. It was fun to get to spend time and get to know you both. Hope you enjoy your photos. Here are few:

Suydams {newborn portraiture}

I'm a couple weeks late with this post. But I finally got my hands on a fresh new baby!! Sweet little Antril Alabama. She's about 10 days.
I also played with her older sisters and managed to get some great shots of them too. But they made me work for them....worth it for sure.
